Creat’Ur Deck is a creature creation tool designed for artists, Creature designers and Dungeon Master.
It allows you to create original & unique creatures in minutes!
It consists of a set of cards, each representing a different aspect of a creature, such as its biome, species, diet, vision, movement and attributes.
How does it work?
To create a creature, simply choose the cards you like and combine them. You can mix and match cards to create creatures that match your vision. The cards are designed to be intuitive and easy to use.

All types of cards
For now we have 20 biomes, 14 species, 15 diet, 9 views & perception, 11 traveling possibilities and 38 attributes.
The stretch goals will increase to over 100 cards in total !
Biomes
Creatures live in different environments, such as forests, deserts or oceans. Your choice will impact the creature’s shape and some of these attributes. Where does your creature live? Keep an eye on the latest news about Biomes
Species
Creatures can be mammals, reptiles, birds or insects. Choose a species to refine the details of your creature. There are 4 possibilities per card. Draw a card at random and select one of the proposed species. If nothing inspires you, feel free to draw another card.
Diets
Creatures can be carnivores, herbivores or omnivores. What the creature eats will affect its appearance. Use the Prey or Predator pictogram to create biological bonds. Define the diet. To determine its behavior as a prey or predator, it is possible to draw a second card.
Vision and perception
Creatures can have night vision, 360-degree vision, or infrared vision. According to your previous choices, you can select a type of vision with the same pictogram. The pictogram of the species also provides indications for biological coherence. Choose how to see or perceive the environment.
Travelling (Means of movement)
Creatures can fly, walk, swim or crawl. The pictograms also help you narrow down your choice. Think biome and creature type. Feel free to choose multiple cards when creating a fantastic creature. For example, your creature may have tentacles and wings. Biological indications are there to help you but feel free to invent chimeras. Select a way to move.
Attributes
Creatures can have attributes such as coverage, shape, or other details. Use pictograms to keep things logical with previous choices if you want to keep organic consistency. You can choose « Covert of something », a specific shape, a size and details. Select the attributes.

We select the mangrove. Its climate is hot and humid, so we have to provide our creature with something to live in.

Let’s choose the insect species.
We can now stack the cards for better visibility and thus hide the other possibilities of the species map.
Notice that we have selected a creature with an exoskeleton. We can find this pictogram later to help us make our choices.
On the diet map we pulled we have several choices. It’s possible that our mangrove insect is a type of mosquito. A blood sucking diet would be rather compatible.
As before we can stack our cards.
We selected the insect earlier. The picto reference map will guide us in selecting our vision based on this parameter.
Insects usually have compound (or faceted) eyes. We can select this map. However for a more original look we will add another card.
At the moment we have a kind of mosquito. Our creature is an insect living in the mangrove that feeds on blood. He has two big faceted eyes.
But we will create a humanoid creature. Let’s choose a biped.
Let’s also add a tail. This allows us to imagine a kind of insect in the shape of a lizard but with an exoskeleton.
Our description :
Our insect creature moves on two main legs. It has other clawed legs to grab its prey while sucking its blood. It has a solid exoskeleton made of its body a sharp armor and a powerful tail covered with its carapasse, a formidable weapon. At its tip, its dart allows it to paralyze its prey and thin its blood to facilitate its aspiration.
All you have to do is give it shape in a beautiful illustration, or make it fight your adventurers in a D&D scenario.

Comment créer votre créature ?
Le Deck se compose d’un ensemble de cartes, chacune représentant un aspect différent d’une créature, comme son biome, son espèce, son régime alimentaire, sa vision, son mouvement et ses attributs.

Pour créer une créature, choisissez simplement les cartes que vous aimez et combinez-les. Vous pouvez mélanger et assortir des cartes pour créer des créatures qui correspondent à votre vision. Les cartes sont conçues pour être intuitives et faciles à utiliser.
Vous pouvez suivre les indications logiques pour que votre créature soit crédible dans son environnement, ou vous laissez porter par le hasard et inventer des espèces étranges.
Tout ce que vous avez à faire ensuite, c’est lui donner forme dans une belle illustration, ou de le faire combattre vos aventuriers dans un scénario D&D.
